Anyone know roughly how much it;ll cost to get RS turbo types bucket seats... retrimed in either half leather or leatherette?

i have been quoted £350 for my seats and door panels in black leatherette, done in a 60`s stylee, but i deal with the guy through my job, not sure he is doing me a deal, but i could get his number if you want it?

I asked corbeau how much to retrim my buckets in the original cloth, they reckoned £60 for the pair

He's most definately not doing you a deal. I got my old TR8 retrimmed in two-tone leather/perforated leather (seats, door panels, rear bulkhead and a few other odds and sods) done for £150. OK, he is a good mate of my Dads, and he was owed a favour, but £350 is more like full price! (maybe with the VAT knocked off for the hell of it)

I'd reckon for a top notch pucker job by a proper company, you're looking at around the £200-400 mark depending on materials (cloth or leather)

Not that bad then...
I getting some reco seat off wolfie.. and I have always want half leather seats, or leatherette, doesn't matter if it looks real, just want the show

I only want the two front seats done... they are VERy simuler to RS turbo bucket seats

i re trimmed my door cards pretty simple. i think i will probally regret saying this but i am fairly good with a needle and thread so i will be re trimming them myself. If all else fails i will ask my nan to do it :thumbsup:

Would leatherette/Vinal make you sweat if it only onthe bolsters?
