Im looking to get me brakes converted over the weekend , so i can run 10" wheels.

i love the 10x4.5 reverse rims and the 10x4.5 replica cooper s rim minisport , minispares do. not the one with the massive offset tho.

im thinking do these wheels stick out from standard arches, soon to be group 2 narrow aches with chrome lip.

i was hoping i could see some pictures or your steel rims on later converted minis with 7.5 disc or original cooper s minis, or just to know how far they stick out.

would proberly use 165/70/10 tyres.

thanks in advance for any info

if they do i think its only a very slight ammount, assuming your not on drum brakes

My boss recently put a set on his 90's sprite and i think you can just see the edge of the tread, not enough to cause agro with the law though

Sounds like a perfect fit then. Cant believe a set just went for £155 on ebay, just the rims no tyres.

seemed a bit overpriced so i left them. The search continues

price does change quite alot depending on the amount of sets on ebay, if there's loads they don't normally go for as much, but if not alot are on then they go for a little more, also depends massively on condition, keep hunting you'll find a good set eventually

finally got my car running on 10" wheels and picked up some nice 4.5 x 10 reverse rims with 165/70/10 tyres today, they stick out about half inch with standard arches, that may get worse or better once i lower it a bit.

Looks great :shifty:
They stick out about the same without standard arch extensions when you have drums (like me) so I'd say you'll be fine the way it is.

hey jeffro,

i've been reading tons about fitting 4.5 reverse rims to cooper s 7.5 brakes and most of the stuff I read about mentions the wheels sticking way out of the shell.. i'm guessing this has to do with the offset of the rim..
yours don't look too bad and seem like they'd fit under group 2 arches.. do you know what the offset is? who makes them?
from what i understand, we're both going for 4.5 reverses over cooper s 7.5 and the narrow group 2s..

thanks for the info,

Max
