I have just brought a smooth bootlid skin.
Does anyone know how to fit internal hinges onto it, and maybe an internal catch so the back end is completely smooth.
If not i was thinking of using the original hinges and fitting a set of rage bonnet locks to it - one either side - anyone done this before either? would they work properly on a single skin bootlid. If it is going to be hassle i have a spare metal bootlid which i could rip the old skin off of, does anyone know how to bond the internal onto the fibreglass one, or what to use to bond it?
