I used to play Sunday league for my local team, was a goalie myself due to my size and build. The ref's in the league i was in were alright actually, would let tackles go that he deemed acceptable yet pull play up for tackles that were un-reasonable. I don't play it now unfortunately as i work weekends and so am unable to get the time off for matches.
there was one game that will always stay with me though. Basically, the corner came in from the right hand side of the pitch. I was watching it for a while seeing if any of the defenders would clear it, which they never, so i called "keepers" jumped up and caught it and in the process, flattening about 5 of my players and around 3 of the opponents, yet they had the check to get up and have a go at me :L

and League 1 Champions 2011
Dear oh dear oh dear. Of all clubs lol
Crystal Palace fan through and through.
Go to as many away games as i can get to whilst at uni - basically all the champ clubs in and around the midlands.
Go to all the home games when im back down South.
Used to have a season ticket before I went to uni, and very very likely to have one again next season as i'm graduating this summer and have sorted a job in the city.
As much as I truly detest Brighton, it will be good to have you back....if only to re-establish ourselves as the better rival lol
Should be a good season!

I suppose someone has to support the palace scum LOL
to be honest I never really understood the rivalry, and was never that into it, till Henry Houghton broke Gerry Ryan's leg, years ago, and never as much as got a booking, and didnt even have the decency to apologise after the game.
But even though I take part in the rivalry now, as far as I am concerned, its only friendly like any other team!

Yeah it all kicked off with Allan Mullery and all those replays in the '76 FA cup (WAY before I was born). It went dull for like 15 years as we were never in the same league, then got revived with the casual 5-0 drumming with an AJ hattrick, there were a few more games, then you got relegated again, only to come back now!
Going to be a couple of quality games next season for us as we've actually got a few derbys to go to, especially with you coming up and West Sham undoubtedly being relegated...
