what happened to the "its your mini, you do as you want" mentality of the forum?

i was being serious, i would love doors that dont require a key. TVR style.

wasnt aimed at you at all! the doors do sound pretty cool! the mk2 ZR i have has the same sort of thing for the boot! would be really cool to have that for the door!

i didnt think it was i just wanted to point it out before i got a beat down :withstupid:

I don't actually think its THAT bad. Granted, the bodykit isn't the best choice and the fiberglass has cracked here there any everywhere, but the body looks pretty sound - more than can be said for the majority of standard looking minis on ebay at the moment.

The majority of things that aren't that attractive can be fixed very easily. The bodykit will simply come off leaving the panels underneath (Hopefully), the exhaust can be re-run and the boot can be replaced cheaply, still leaving you with a half decent car plus a body kit you could re-sell on ebay recouping some cash.

Bit harsh lads when its owners on the flipping forum.

Good bant though lol

carbon weave bonnet and an exhaust that exits in the correct place would make it look half decent.

Atleast the ad is fairly honest ... Not expecting it to be to everyones taste.
As alot of you have said, there is alot worse out there.

I think the doors are pretty neat, aslong as you dont leave your lights on and flatten the battery ...... :)

Max Power is dead?!

And handle-less doors look ace but I'd worry about reliability especially on minis and TVR's :)

Horrible but with a bit of work you could make it look alright, or just rip it off and start again.

Barryboys.co.uk actually, which I think is a great place. All they do is give their opinion on cars that are usually to an incredibly poor standard and are regarded by the majority as tasteless. You can't do that on this site because people don't have a thick enough skin to take criticism with the praise. If your car get's on barryboys and you sign up and say 'fair enough you don't like my car, I do and that's all I care about', they'll actually turn around and say 'fair enough, you're a decent chap. Can't agree with your tastes but hey'. If you sign up and threaten them with stupid legal cases and violence, they'll laugh at you and call you the little girl you are.

IMO this Mini is hideous, it should be put down. If whoever owns it/buys it likes it himself, he won't care about my opinion. If his/her ego is too fragile and they don't like that someone doesn't agree with their tastes, they shouldn't have a car that is clearly going to get so much attention.

Its the individualness of the mini scene that makes it good. The car in question is not to my taste but each to their own,
