From a systems designers point of view, not the smoothest changeover in the world, but if you can sort out the missing graphics before doing anything else, it would be of benefit to the user community...
1/2 the time I don't know if I clicked the right button or not.. and I'm sure I've nearly deleted a couple of topics..
I'm not having a go, but would advise getting the outward presentation working.. before adding new stuff.

yeh but gw they cant be certian that all the images would switch with the changeover and you cannot run 2 forum softwares at once so u can not test it before it goes live.
or in guessworks talk
you can only fit one gear box at a time and you cant test the new gear box untill you remove the old box and fit the new one
if the new one doesnt fit your screwed

You can run two forums at once, ive done it before all you need to do is install it to a different directory and there you go two forums at once, creates some small issues but for testing its wonderfull, i always do that at work, have the main system and in another folder the testing system for new components.
Nick told me invison helped him with a few problems on the forums and since then there has been no images, also the new version links to different table names than the old one, its not TMF fault its invisions for the upgrade!
Come on guys, Nick cant just drop everything to fix this site, he does have a full time job and other commitments.
If you wanted everything to go so smooth as you want you should have to pay so the admins can hire a webmaster!
You can run two forum softwares at once, just set them up in different folders. Can't have them both running off the same DB though I think. Actually you probably can (nearly anything is possible with the right knowledge), but would need some coding outside what the memebers of TMF know.
I know the code Jammy, im helping Nick when i can. Although its not so easy on a forum so big.
Jammy you can connect to the database from two forums by the way.
