Where abouts in Staffs are you?
Me and my mate both got mpi's, but we're both around to lend a hand if needs be.
I'm in Stafford itself. Have seen five Minis today...am taking them as a sign that someone out there thinks I should have one!

Good luck finding your dream brrrm. Does it HAVE to be pink?!
Get yerself a Haynes manual, a pile of tools & get yer hands dirty. When it all goes horribly wrong, bat your eyelids & ask for help.
Please don't be scared off by all these hormonal boys. They have their uses. Occasionally.

What a lovely warm welcome. The inclusion of 'girl' in the title worked I see.
I went to see a gorgeous 1993 Mini Mayfair tonight, but unfortunately it was gorgeously full of rust that wasn't mentioned in the newspaper ad!
I am seriously tempted by the blue mini with the pink interior that 1995 MK2 IOM posted though. Well more than seriously, I think I might actually be in love. There may have to be some seriously bribing of my dad to go with me and see it i think. Damn shame it finishes on Ebay tomorrow, might have to see if it gets bid on and if not, maybe cheekily approach the owner via e-mail. If anyone has looked at the listing, does it seem like a good car? Its got 102,000 on the clock which is a little high, but I guess if the car runs ok, then it's alright. Maybe I'm just trying to tell myself that it will be, because it's so damn beautiful heh.
Once again, thanks for the welcome guys. It appears that I am going to enjoy being a part of this forum, and like I said...get ready for the stupid questions. I may know cars, but Minis are a whole other ball game

Hi there MC!

Hey,
Nope, it doesn't have to be pink. Colour is easily changeable! As long as it has four wheels, runs well and doesn't have a hole in the floor Flintstones stylee, then it's all good. I can't wait to get my hands dirty working on my Mini...just need to find one first. And of course my back up plan is to use my feminine wiles when all else fails
Hormonal boys don't scare me...even if I can't stick them in detention when they annoy me like the ones I work with.
