hi i was just wondering what would be the best process for painting some already painted external door handles (such as the black/grey ones) is it a case of putting on primer then colour then lacquer. also as they are small items would be using spray cans too

rub down same as you would any other painted metalwork...

The alternative is back to base metal and powder coat
