Just wondered if anyone has had any experience with RJM minis near Southampton? I was thinking about getting him to do some work for me. His website is below.

I actually haven't, but I'd be interested to hear from anyone as well. I'm in Winchester and always looking to find local Mini garages.

I tried that 'Minis R Us' in Twyford and was appalled at their service, prices and attitude. Just awful and I'd advise anyone to stay WELL clear. Unfortunately, my experience with them has made me kinda wary about other places so I try to keep my ear to the ground for recommendations!

Richard at RJM is a legend, he has loads of scrap minis in stock and every conceivable mini part available second hand. Hes knowledgeable and is open till 5 on a Saturday. The place looks like a scrap yard so dont expect to go in and get a load of cheap brand new swiftune parts but if you want 1 screw for a clutch plate or a single valve spring, door, shell etc. he will do you a deal.

Rich is a great guy always happy to answer a question when needed
His parts are priced better than u will find anywhere else

He rebuilt my little 85 1000cc

I only go to him been going for the best part of 15 years

Do not go to twyford minis

Rich at rjm is the only real mini place in Southampton
