Brilliant news :D I can sort my dodgy roof out

So there's no option for Cooper coachlines, bonnet stripes or Cooper decals then? :(

No, I did my stripes and Cooper laurel afterwards in Adobe Illustrator, along with the door number. I think I did the white bonnet in the Miniselecta, to make it look like the bonnet stripes, but I might have done that afterwards too, can't remember.

Thanks for the reply :D

Aha, looking good. I didn't think I'd seen any with stripes/rosette; I thought my attempt was the 1st - silly me

I think that part of the bonnet on yours would look green, have you tried viewing your actual car from this same angle? =]

I did this for Liz earlier this week, part done with MiniSelecta then CS2 :D maybe the 1st with Pepperpots?

it's still a work in progress

I have the stripes/rosette saved on a separate layer so if anyone wants them pasting to theirs give me a shout :D

bare in mind that I've got to finish Liz's 1st & it sometimes takes me ages

Any chance of turning this into an App
Just an idea

I develop apps so I may have a go at making an app based version of this on a platform that works on iOS, Android and Windows. Although, it won't be able to be released yet due to copyright.

Who would be interested in an app version of this sort of thing if I was to get approval for copyright? It would be free, of course.

Looks great! Definitely first I've seen with Pepperpots and your stripes/laurel are much neater than mine :) I probably should change the bonnet back to green, must have another play at some point!

it wouldnt be too difficult i guess

you need a raster layer image of a mini, and then each accessory is on its own layer the selection in the box calls up the required layer of the image, the colour is changed in much the same way too as all shading can be done in the image layer and the body colour is just called up as a bit of code that changes the background colour (the actual background white being already blanked in the image layer)

so you'd build up the image of layers comprising of

Background colour (hex, ral etc)

Mini silloutte including hi lights and shading (to give a more 3D look), with the White background included

Wheels, tyres and accessories

Stickers

I am dying to build Dexter on this but I have only got it to load once on my laptop (never on galaxy tab or phone) and then I could not really do much, only MK1 shells etc?

I will keep trying :gimme:
