i think it is, it feels like your going much faster than it looks on camera.

speed on camera is a difficult thing to see.

formula 1 cars dont look like they are moving as fast as they are.


are you going to be using this daily?

Its not going to be used daily but it will have some road use. Its mainly for a bit of fun at the weekends sprints and trackdays.

Its not really suitable for the road.

Its getting there now, Got the seat covers and ive also got some roll bar padding on now. Ben has done some really good work for me again and made some footwell plates and a bulkhead blanking plate. Think im going to send my minisport crappy carbon dash to him so he can do something about it. Ive also made a gasket type thing to sit over the gear change so theres no hole in the floor. Im just in the middle of making a proper loom.

Its looking like the car will have a minimag feature. Got a photoshoot booked for it.

did the carbon floors need trimming around the cage or was it nice and easy to fit

The carbon floors were a bit of a one of custom made thing, they were mocked up in bens mini and then sent to me, the passenger side fits like a glove and so does the driver side. I think im just going to inset it a bit to go round the legs.

How'd you make the gear gasket thingy?

The gear gasket thing was just cut out of gasket material and put over the hole.

The Mot is tomorrow and im not overly confident.
