The jetting is close to full race on 5 star petrol, those were the days.

You have to rejet slightly to allow for the reduced density of modern unleaded/ 10% ethanol petrol.

Save the planet, use ethanol, starve the 3rd world.

Ha ha. Im going to bolt it on and see what happens. If its not right, what jets would you recomend changing? Or would it just be best to take it to a rolling road.

Hi Kerrin, apologies didnt see your previous post. No thats not my carb, just one I found on the internet.
It has grub screws and the trumpets bolt onto the body of the carb, so this would make it a 45 then? Thanks for the easy way to differentiate between the two.

Yes 45. Check the body of the carb is not cracked near the grub screws, if it is the carb is scrap due to air leaks.

Rolling road is my advice, If we had one here it would have saved me hours of messing.
