Noticed that the mrs mini is missing the brethare pipes from the block upto the carb, (they just vent to atmosphere). Do we think these are a needed or not??

you can only vent to atmosphere if fitted with the K&N type filters

or else dirt will go into the engine as it cools down :smartass:

has the carb been blocked off where the vent pipe should go ?

if the carb is blocked up then no, but it is usefull as without one i discoverd that the fumes from the block got into the car instead of being reused!

But doesnt the bore reduce quiet a lot at one end, and would I need a tee peice to join the two breathers from each side of the block?
