It's true!!! Read all about it in auto express. They got plans for an estate versio, with varients such as Clubman and Countryman. ITS JUST WRONG!!!!

The traveller version was announced at the Detroit motor show. Can't see the point of it to be honest. Even less room than a standard classic mini saloon by the looks of it.

I heard it too, they can't come up with new names, just like they pinched the mini name! :sad: I think i remember reading about a checkmate and a jet black too. Its a natural progression.

I must say, although i do hate the BMW 1series, aka the Bini.
I feel the need to say, fair play to BMW. To take a classic motor, such as the great mini, and moderntise it. They are going to make a hell of a lot of money from it. Especially when they reveal, the van, pickup, estate, and most eagerly awaited, the WOODY

People can moan about the name stealing but its happened. It's been a good buy for BMW and they have had lots of sales. What company doesn't want to acheive this? It's what they aimed at when they began.
Its happened and your say isn't going to change things. Get used to it and like it for the car, not the name.

At the end of the day .. We own Mini's .. We know what it's like to own a Mini ..

Anyone who owns a BINI and has never had the pleasure of owning the "real deal" is missing out ..

We own an original and that's the way it should be .. Nothing BMW, or any car company, make can come close, even if it's better .. It's not original ..

It might be originally copied .. But, even though the name badge says Mini we know it's not, it's a BMW vaguely resembling the shape of a mini ..

It's like songs that are covers .. They might have the same lyrics, but they aren't the original .. No matter how good they are ..

That's just the way i feel about it .. I'd rather own an original car and not a cover ..

OMG, can't you people stick to the other 33645 threads we have about BINIs and how they relate to the real mini, instead of creating another one!

That Clubman, along with the traveller, Mayfair, etc etc has been banded around for ages, as Dan said, I stopped throwing up now, and don't care what BMW do, at the end of the day I have my classic and thats all that matters.
