Big change of plan, I'm going to stick with what I know. So I'm gonna have carbs and Megajolt. Just need to find a cheap set of bike carbs

Ooooowww, exciting stuff! Will you have any problems with emissions or anything like that? Should sound lovely! I think a while back there was a few manifolds on ebay for the cg13, to suit cbr 600 carbs. Might be worth a look on the micra forums to see what they're doing.

As of Monday I start a new job and I get a company van so the mini will no longer be in daily use :(

It does mean I can take it off the road for the conversion etc with out worrying about getting to work so now I can really crack on but I can also take more time and make things look good aswell as functional ;)

Just need to source some carbs now

I have got my hands on some carbs, I decided to go for the smaller 36mm rather than 38 or 40mm because the micra is only a 1.3 and the smaller should combat any loss of low down torque.

A quick look and the spacing is not to far off and can easily be corrected in the runners

Remember that the 1ltr gear box and the 1.3 are very different in size, if you mock up with the 1ltr you'll find the 1.3 wont fit. Better to mock up the 1.3 initially.

The gear linkages are different as is the gearbox oil filler hole and the CV joints.

Only the very early 1.0L had the smaller box and driveshafts, if the engine and box are from the red Micra the box and driveshafts will be the same size as those from a 1.3L car.

What he said , its the same size box just different ratios

the boxes are difarent sises by a long shot i had this problem too but you can stick with the 1liter box flywheel and clutch on the 13 block ratios are a bit mental for the 13 but makes a very quick car but are limeted by gearing to around 110mph !!!

are you having a flip front? the more clearance on the front member the better for your exhaust..
