Not sure how accurate this website is yet but some interesting figures back to 1994..............

"Search to find statistics for every make and model of car registered in the UK.
Data comes direct from the Department for Transport, and is regularly updated.
You can even download a copy of the original data from the DfT website."
http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/

Search for 'Mini'.......(some models are New MINI)
http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?q=mini

Austin Seven (but may include the original pre-Mini A7 figures?):

While mini enthusiasts continue to break cars rather than restore, they will disappear quicker than a dogs dinner. Statistics also don't back up values rising as cars get less neither.

there are some interesting statistics too!!

an example; the Austin Cooper numbers on the road increased from 2008 to 2009 by 17...

I assume this is cars with a valid tax disc (?)

Probably right about the A7's, many are recorded as A7 on logbook (as the pre-war version) rather than Mini.

Lamm Cabriolet would also depend on what Dealer originally entered on Log Book/V5 for DVLA...........often just Rover Mini was probably entered.

Well according to that, only 161 25's are still taxed and on the road, with mine being used as a daily.
