I wasnt going too, the only holes that will be through the sills will be for the roll cage. I hadnt really thought about venting

its a good idea to put some holes in them, or even on the inner sills. it allows any condensation to evaporate and stops the sills rusting from the inside, out.

You've got some good welding and fabrication skills, I like the rear boot hook, very rally style. Heres mine on my mini, and the hook cost a fair bit of money really:

Thanks Evan, i was lucky to buy the hook for £7 and got the hooks quite cheap through work. Yours looks great!! did you buy the headlamp covers or make them?

Realised after fitting the dash rail that the works dash i had made using the original patterns , wasnt going to fit. This is because the works ones sat forward of the dash rail but my roll cage sits flush with the front of the rail. So i had to modify the "box" so it now sits flush. This also brought up another problem in that the front piece is bolted in 3 places along the top and bottom. The 2 end bolts are now not accessable do i had to weld in the strips of metal you can see in the pic

Im going to have to remake this front piece as its steel and some of the holes need changing. Ive got some nice alloy lined up to do the job
