Our latest addition!

This is by no means a quick project. And it isn't one that we will be getting seriously involved with for some time yet - But I wanted to post up a sort of blog about the progress and changes that we make!

It's a 1964 Splitscreen, currently empty, but originally a Kombi. It's had a camper conversion at some point, so you'll see that it's been chopped about very badly!

Anyway - Here she is!

looks good! seen much worse restored than this 1! id be tempted though to ditch the high top and source a good steel roof and replace it, looks so much better IMO

I can see one of those out of my bedroom window in a lock up behind a caravan dealership. Looks a tip and hasn't moved for ever... Mite pop round and ask if they need it moving free Of charge! Haha! I'd love one!

Well, it was more than £1k but less than £4k - So take from that what you will! :geek:

It's a German import - Imported in about 97 I think. Totally UK registered, complete with V5 & UK Plates! :D

Tax free, too!

David - It'll probably be the camper! :P Promise Ronnie will get done though - Don't fret! :) But it's a lot more complex now that someone's driven into him and stoved in his back end ... :dozing:

We've started collecting parts ... some essential, some .... not so essential! :)

Old-skool-lews : Not sure what to do with this awful roof yet. It's a bit of a homebrew, but it's done quite solidly - but will probably put it back to the original and maybe fit a pop-top if we can find one! :P

K's 6ft, so that extra height would be handy! :ermm:
