Bean - exactly how many projects do you need??!!!

Are any of them going to get finished?!

(are you just easily distracted?! :D )

Good luck with this. You're a much braver woman than I. I wouldn't touch anything in that state!

I hope one day it is sooper-spangley & you camp the living daylights out of it. :)

:)

I'm like a magpie, but for rust!

Juju - We are easily distracted, lol - But when you see things that you just can't refuse, then why not? ;)

Well, there's Reggie, Frankie (the van), Nora (the KFC one), Ronnie (The 25)

Then there's a few more dotted around that belong to Kris! :-

And then there's the house rebuilt! :) :w00t:

Damn you for starting this thread!! I've now spent the last three days trawling through Ebay adds at rotten 40 year old german rust buses!! I probably ought to get my welder out of its box and learn to use it first though!! :)

Lol, tell me about it! I kept looking at them too ... Just dreaming! Then K found this one... That night we went down to Bristol... A few glasses of champers later, we'd bought it, lol.

Well, after reading a very inspirational thread on VZi, I have a plan for tomorrow.... You'll have to wait and see, lol. :)

One good thing about living in Malvern, is that you have British Volkswagen Festival and Vanfest on your doorstep! :P

The bad thing about living in Malvern is that you can easily nip home and make a list of where your VW is rusty and what you need to buy ... :P

So - a couple of hours later ... we had a list :o

A couple of hours after that, we had very, very light pockets! :)

So, today, we bought:

Posted Image

1 x N/S Complete Dogleg Arch
1 x O/S Floorpan Half
1 x Inner Front Apron
1 x Outer Front Apron
1 x Lower Nose Repair
1 x Inner Sill (Long)
1 x B Post Repair
2 x Cargo Floor Halves
1 x Box section for the rear of the cargo floor
1 x Outer Sill
1 x Engine Hatch (From a Bay)

(The rest of the pictured bits have been collected by K on his wanderings :P)

Also on order are:

A full side panel:

A few window repairs:

And some belly pans:

K has also invested in some ... not quite so essential items!
