search for second hand seats, which probably don't have much life in them. Or find some new seats that match, because i don't want bucket seats i want my car to have its original features. what have other people done and if buying new classic car seats can i get them anywhere?
also would it be a good idea to buy new runners for the seats as well?

there's a massive thread about what seats have been used in here, have a wee search, think it's called what seats fit in a mini or something...
hi, i don't want to know what other car seats will fit in my mini, i want to know how i can get hold of replica seats, or is it better to search ebay for some second hand ones? (i dont want bucket i want replica)

why not get your seats refurbished with new foam, springs, covers etc will look the same, probably cost the same and will keep it original!
sounds cool, i never thought of that. what have other people done when they needed new seats?

If you replace the covers on your existing seats with something like This, then they will look virtually brand new again without the need for new seats
The Diaphragms provide the spring in the bottom of the seats and these can be replaced fairly cheaply if necessary. The seat backs themselves are sprung with steel springs that hardly ever need replacing. The foam padding itself doesn't usually suffer too badly and therefore rarely needs replacing either, even when it does, then it's usually just the foam on the drivers seat foam that's the problem. If you do need the foam or the seat back springs and have trouble sourcing them, then I think I've got a full set somewhere in my loft.
thank you.
