'Lo peeps,

Can anyone assist with a guide to id'ing what type of SU carb is on a mini?

I'm new to the whole car business - but keen as mustard. I'm looking to remove ma engine, clean it up, paint it and possibily change the carb ( it doesn't look to hard going by haynes book).

Guess I'm really asking how to I tell if I have a 1 1/2 SU or what?

Please help

There should be a small tag on it, but if it's has a floatchamber on the side it's an HS, and mostlikey an HS4 on a mini..

If you have the tag number look it up onBurlen
