Some news... I'm now a Mini owner. Been offered a barn find, needs hardly anything doing (yeah right) on first impressions... its wayy too good to let go so i should be picking it up in the week

She's gonna be my daily forever. I was working on my car... next door neibour comes out "Hey Craig, I've boughgt 5 acres of land and theres a garage with a Mini in it... needs a little bit of work but its not rotten" Me... Sweet! How much do you want for it? "Just give me 200 to cover scrap value and we'll get it moved in the week"

Minis are crap man... I know that which is why Im going in with low expectations Doesnt stop me from being more excited than I've ever been in my whole life though

Mini will have my 8v on a Watsons frame. Eventually fit proper pistons and a 1400 twin cam head, some 135 cams and R65 gearbox, 120bhp with a remap on 16 valves :) Metro will have pretty similar spec.

I've got a 160 vvc sitting in my shed waiting for my next mini. May whip the head off it this week and have a lookie as well as fit an uprated mls head gasket to it.

Oh Craigy, you've flown out of your comfort zone I'm going to copy everything you do to your mini, so ill be around yours with mine everytime you change something.
