Alfa Seats In A Mini.

I have Alfa 156 seats in mine. Here is the back seat, with headrests

the full set only cost me £30 too. The rear seat had to cut down to fit and recovered.


Looks good, makes me back to go back and get the rear seat for mine and trim it to fit.

Just thought i'd take this opertunity to show off my seats HEHE. They are out of a Alfa 156 if anyone else is intrested in doing it. Let me know what you all think of them i'm inlove with them ha. They are so comfortable compared to the standard mini seat.

Hi they look great just seen some id like but how easy are they to fit?
Which subframes etc?

looking good, mine are from a alfa got them from a scrap yard for £50 then had them retrimed and upholstery.

They look really good. How have you mounted yours and also what have you done about the rear bins as mine touch them when they are right back.


Thanks, sorry to take time getting bk. I have used the Alfa subframes and got some brackets made to sit them on. They dnt hit the rear bins as i have just moved them in so it just misses.

Saw a mini in mini mag with them in the other month and look really nice,

Looks good, makes me back to go back and get the rear seat for mine and trim it to fit.


How difficult is it to re trim the rear seat to fit?


I got someone to do the re-trimming as I did not have the time. It looks quite easy really. Strip the cover off and remove the foam. Cut and weld the metal seat frames to fit the mini (I did that bit). Mark out the seat foam from the centre line and cut it down using an electric carving knife. Then refit the seat covers. You will probably have to unpick some seams and sew them up with a sewing machine.
