well what my dad done must have been the type r conversion, because they put an 1800 maxi engine in a mk1, it was quite funny when he saw my shell because he kept asking where things were, like the door hinges and the sliding windows haha :grin:
i'm guessing he dropped out of the seen very early on :tongue:

No offence but why would you want an E-series Maxi engine in this day and age of Redtops and VTEC engines?
What year is the Allegro? Late ones will be A+. Sayingt hat for £50 and its that good you can't be picky!
