[1984mini25]

I swung by the TMF stand 3 or 4 times over the course of the day and there was no one about. Although, if there had been I have no idea what I'd have introduced myself with.

Good day though, shame they broke Podzilla.

I’m sure I walked past you at least twice

Still I bought all the bits to hopefully get the 25 another year’s mot, although on the drive home it was close to overheating and the brakes were almost going to the floor.

Yeah, I managed to forget the banner!!

Sooo......

We painted "the mini forum" up the side of my estate!! It certainly attracted a lot of attention and bcjames and myself may well be pictured in the act in the mini mag show report!!

The welding on my clubby isn't actually finished yet!! I kind like the way it looks 'rat' at the mo though!!

Fantastic show and we all(hopefully!!) had a great time, on the sat night I laughed so much I nearly wet myself!! Matt/mark's nan has a lot to answer for!!

This has been the best show I've been to for ages, well organised, plenty to do, excellent atmosphere and entertainment. I couldn't fault it at all, it was just an utterly top weekend with a great bunch of people!!

If you didn't go then you missed out big time!

Not much in the end (trying to spend as little as possible on the minis) Only a set of disks and pads, as I think from my repeated roundabout abuse I’ve cooked the current pads and in turn polished the disks.
Or at least that’s what I’m hoping to be the cause of my long brake pedal.

I also bough a pair of track rods, not that they exactly needed doing, but I found one of the dust covers were split on one and had started to wear while doing a wheel bearing recently. But at the time I swapped it for a used second-hand one I had lying around in the garage. So now I have the chance I might as well replace both with new items.

I’m also certain the running hot might be down to the fan belt being past it. The last one snapped and I replaced it with one I found in the garage and never really got round to replacing properly lol. Other than the hammerite paintjob (at least it won’t rust lol), there isn’t a whole lot wrong with it mechanically or body wise to fail on.

And I didn’t really buy anything special for the other one mini either; just a set of number plates some trim and a few odds and sods.

Had a brill show. I did see a few cars I recognized off here although when I went past the mini forum stand their was no one their.
