I don't think we would be able to afford a Scirocco. I like the Alfa mito. It would have to be a used car, no way can we afford new!

Ye know what you mean, they are expensive. I went to buy the GP WORKS but ended up with a checkmate cooper s with the cooper works engine upgrade. They have a good responsive engine, nice to drive and you can still atend mini shows without looking out of place. Kind of haha

C30s are awesome, consider the 1.6 diesel over the petrol. Bags more torque, 70mpg and £30 a year road tax! I wish they did a New sport ka to rival another good car, the fiat 500.

Other then the mini I have my 1990 MazdaKia"Ford" Festiva (121, pride) has over 200k on the clock and still happily buzzes away blissfully unaware that it should be worn out by now. Rather happy about how reliable the car is and plan to transplant one of those 1.3 multi port injection engines into one of my project minis.

I do have the back seat pulled out and use it not unlike a pickup truck quite often heh. I believe there is a picture of it in my build thread pulling my mini van shell 1500 miles on a trailer.

My everyday car's a Peugeot 205 GTI with a 2.0 turbo conversion. I should be getting a 1978 Mini Clubman 1275GT within a month so I will have 2 fun classics in the garage

My Mrs has a Citroen C1 and I like the car, like a modern day mini I guess.

The 70hp 1ltr 3cylinder engine is very zippy, would love that engine in my mini )
