Hi, I have swapped my engine from an 850 A series to 1000 A+, now I was wondering what I can use from the old engine.
Can I use the original starter motor and the separate solenoid or do I need the newer pre-engaged type.
The new engine has Verto clutch so I know I will need new slave cylinder and adjoining pipe to master cylinder.
And I presume the Dizzy will be different, I have a 59D here to put on.

Any advice would be welcome in any respect of the above, or any other advice

Thanks

Stuart

You could swap the flywheel assemblies and use the old starter & clutch components. The distributor will need to be A+ fitting.
