Yes, I've finally bought another Mini after nearly 3 years!

It's a 1996 Mini Sprite, with the Keith Convertible kit.













These are the dealer photos, I'll take some better ones soon.

Plans are just to tart it up a bit, no major modifications. Just make it nice and classic looking.

Unsure about the interior, will keep it for now but might look into something nicer in the future.

What do you mean by red seat badges? The "Mary Quant" signature? They've faded unfortunately.

Car looks really Nice! Dont see many as clean as that about.. or convertibles for that matter

It has just 39,000 on the clock, genuine mileage. Has been taken to this dealer for the last 10 years for MOTs and servicing. 2 owners.

Last owner was an interior designer, hence the "Designer" interior!

Roof chop was done by "Keith" around 2000.

Really tidy and genuine car, yet to find a spec of rust or bubbling on it.

Well as it was build in 1996, so technically it's a BMW. Maybe that's why?

Insurance all sorted now. Passed the MOT yesterday and ready for collection today.

So I collected it this afternoon, turns out there was a classic car show just down the road this evening.

The dealer thought I was so keen to get the car today due to the show, but I didn't even know about it

Went along and had a great times, saw loads of fantastic cars and some really nice Minis.

Took the family out for a drive in it and they love it!

May be going to Ace Cafe tomorrow and going to SMD at the weekend. Will try to get some good photos up.

Have already replaced the black grille with a chrome Cooper grille I had lying around in the garage.
