You will still have the scuttle ends to use as lining up reference points, but do a dry run with the window before welding in.

aha now i get what u mean, very clever actually. i did cut more on each side if u look in the picture but thats okay i can sort that out. iam just worried if i take a big piece of this budget scuttle it might not fit properly.
