Hi all,

I thought it would be cool to list your car and BHP, weather you have standard BHP or a high end bike powered monster...

Please reply with your car and BHP. A brief list of what got you that BHP aswell would be cool so we could maybe see at what really works pound for pound.

You get there with stickers. Lots and lots of stickers.

Why do you think stickerbombing is so popular?

I have a standard unleaded 998 with a stage 1 kit, putting out 42 BHP I set it all up and set it off for a session!

Waiting for a BMW K1600 Lump for it, straight 6 with 160bhp and 129lb/ft torque, only red lines at 8.5K rpm so brilliant for a car!

78.9 BHP from the following 10 years ago!!

1275GT A-series engine re-bored +.030 (£50 including the rest of the car - really!!)
MED Road/Comp head (£150 secondhand)
Kent 266 Cam kit (About £55 from MiniShop in Enfield I think)
Duplex Timing gear (£20 budget one!)
Twin 1 1/4" Carbs (Free from my brother but rebuilt with kit - £25)
K&N Filters (Can't remember but paid about £40 for the pair)

The rolling road session (Mini Speed) was a Christmas Present.

So about 290 quid for an increase of about 40 BHP (it was a 998) before. About £7 per horsepower :(

58bhp at the wheels (roughly 75-80 ATFL)
from a 1275 that came with my mini
it already had a SW5 cam and a cooper freeflow manifold for a 998 engine lol
I took the big exhaust off and put a rc40 on there
I bought a "stage 5 cooper S head" from ebay which turned out 12g1805 head
then I bought 1.5.1 rockers
and had it turned, it was running a hif44
With a better head I could of got more out of it, was a good fun engine for the spec, current engine is much more fun but I don't know the power of it

1275 engine
1300 Metro cast exhaust/inlet manifold
Single Straight through exhaust box
276 cam
Hif 38 carb with 'doctored' needle
Cold air feed to carb
MG Metro Distributor set at 12 deg at 1000 rpm
Metro City gearbox with 3.6 diff

edit.. Forgot to mention lightened flywheel and backplate

Ran a 16.4 at Santa Pod on standard wheels and tyres.

Budget race motor, just bits out of the garage. Had some fun with that engine, would only pull about 6 grand but did it have some power.
