I don't think it's the valves touching because it still knocks with bog standard rockers, just gotta finish putting back together my back up 1275 and I'll swap em over and strip down the 1330 , got plans for it anyway, would just be nice to know what I was look for causing the trouble

could be cam followers sticking in the block but that would be extreme.

the noise would be the cam hitting it if it wasn't seated properly.

Just a thought. :)

It sounds like a diesel!!! Is there any oil getting up to the rockers??? Personally - I would fit a proper set of rockers and not these toy-town things.......

I have tried normal and these rockers no difference at all :/ and yeh there is plenty of oil up there , and what do you mean by the cam hitting? Thanks

Unlikely but if the cam follower was not dropping back down with the cam lobe then the cam would hit it rather than push it back up..

The valve spring should force it back down with the rocker arm ? :S

Have you fitted spaces under the rocker posts ?

If there not spaced could it be valve springs binding ?

No I havnt but surely the when the normal rockers are on there that would stop? But the noize carrys on :/
