I've been told by many people, my instructor and insurance companies that a Pass Plus will only give you discounted insurance in your first year.

well....2nd time of trying my driving test, passed with 2 minors last friday

- control, reversing round a corner....basically, didnt know if i hit the curb or went down a grate so just pulled forward and did it again...

- control of gears....hehe, think i got a crunch into reverse or it was the slam into 1st from 5th :)

anyhoo, pass plus now for 2 weeks then free to drive my mini

been quoted £1400 fully comp on my own (im 17) seems good...they said corsa would be more and my car is a mini cooper 1.3 (see below)

see you on the road

Well done hun!

Im also 17 and havent passed yet my minis a 1275cc and im insured with a firm called Capricorn for £950 fully comp a year! Try them they seem to be really good!

Hmm cant seem to find them on the net. The name is Capricorn PMC and they are somehow related or in partnership with Service Insurance Company Limited and Landmark Insurance Company Ltd. I went through a company called A-Plan insurers to find them. http://www.aplan.co.uk/

oh by the way, pass plus is only 6 lessons for additional driving, ie: country roads, night time and motorways....theres no test....after 6 lessons you get a certificate to say you have passed
