I've never been before, is it worth going if you're not going to be racing on the track?

Lots of typical Mini show things to see and do even if you are not going out on the track yourself and you can always watch others driving their Mini's on the race circuit.......there are plenty of good places to spectate from.

Hi guys, this will be my first year at Combe which is luckily quite near me! Can't wait.

I have a question some others may be wanting to ask...

I've never been on a track in my Mini before and would love to give it a try. My Mini is a 1275 SPI Sprite and is in great shape although doesn't have track parts such as a rollcage, bucket seat(s), lightweight (stripped interior etc) and not many engine upgrades currently..... should this concern me or should I not give a damn and just get on the track and have some fun!?

Many thanks =]

I'd say just get on the track, it's not a competitive race. Just be ready to be overtaken and to move out of the way a lot.

I'd be much more concerned about your insurance and potentially writing off your car if something does go wrong.

Thank you Mini_Magic, that pretty much answers my question although hearing from others would be great, too!

I'm only intending on having some fun and seeing what the fuss is all about :). Couldn't dream of hurting Keith.
