Hi, I bought my mini a year ago today, its a 1990 mini mayfair it was completely standard when I got it.
This is the earliest pic I have of it, it was taken at Stanford hall my first mini show in a mini, i had changed the standard mirrors to torpedo mirros in the picture thats the only change visual change i had made apart from things like bootliners and some other parts I had got from uttoxeter.

At Stanford I got a new grille and some halogens. The next show I went to was Bingley where I spent all of my money :-
Since then I have gone to other shows (Malvern, Himley hall and Shakespeare raceway, I also went to Oldbury minispares open evening) but not spent any major money apart from some small bits and bobs.
It failed its MOT last week on 4 things (and 3 advisories) so they got repaired and it passed its retest with 4 advisories
And thats everything that has happened to my mini over the last year so heres some quick pictures i took of it today.

Hi, thanks the comment, sorry I don't know who Gary is or what the N.S.R.A is I went for British mini showdown (is that the same thing as N.S.R.A?) and I only went because i needed parts and thought it had traders there but when me and my dad went we found out it was mainly a racers show, I still enjoyed it there but will only go again if im going to go on the strip.

Thanks Josh

Hi,
The next thing I plan to do is sort the bodywork out and then paint, ive been looking at roller painting it (white body and black roof), I'll be trying to do some parts of the body work before I start uni and maybe start putting the first layers of paint during the Christmas holidays.
Engine wise there a chance my Dad's friend has a low mileage 1275 so i might be able to get that and fit that depending on insurance.
After that it will be interior and some mk1 parts

Thanks Josh
