I just finished up bodwork and painting my '89 mini. After I've let the paint cure for a few weeks, I want to put the white stripes on back on the bonnet and the pin stripes down the sides. I've heard that it can be very difficult to get them straight. Any advice or recommendations on how to do this properly. I've never put decals on a vehicle, and I only get one chance to do this correctly!

i put some new stripes on mine two days ago, i spray the bonnet with water with a bit of fairy liquid and spray the bottom of the stripes so when i placed it on it allowed me to slide it into the correct position. i just a credit card wrapped in a cloth to push the water and the air out from underneath it causing them to stick, worked out great. hope that helps!
