Thanks for the nice comments people,

I have only had her since November 03,

As far as I know she has:

Standard engine (998) with stage 1
Front vallance, (not sure which one)
Blue indies and lights all round (any one fancy a swap?)
Seats have been changed (not to sure what out off)
Rears taken out
Bonett vents (not sure which ones)
Diff Mirrors, not using them normal fixing but a plate has been welded
on the side of the door and them fixed to that, (Not sure what mirrors tho)
Dash and centre been changed, all dials working in the dash, temp, Volts and oil.
Steering wheel (not sure which one).
Wheels think they are mini lights 5x12 or 12x5 (same thing)
Sports pack arches

As you can see, I dont know much about minis and help needed to find out what bits have been put on. All the above was done befor I got her, All I had to do was sort out the rough running (CO too high, new points and con, dizzy) had another prob of her cutting out, found out that a bolt was slightly loose on the fule pump

Bits needed:

Windscreen as big arse stone chip, Drivers side head light (stone chip) and both doors.

Needs touching up in a few places not much tho as the front end was changed befor I got her so all A panels etc are OK. On the side by the rear arches has a few stone chips and on the bonnet.

hey welcome to the site, nice mini youve got there, i know a guy from Wales who can supply you with all those things if you need them for a cheaper price than you can pick up else where! if you want the number I can pm it to you, he does mail order as well. Just one question, what is that box thing inside your car by the gear stick? :erm:

It is a centre consol (spelling) you can put your CD/radio in there, I think it was from custome consols (spelling again ) I have seen the link some where but you can find them in the mags, it just screws in.

As far as bits go, not in a rush at the moment, WALES ?? bit far for me, dont trust the post man, you must of seen that post programme on TV(jokers) What sort of prices is he looking at??

Just to let you know....


I went to see a chap about an engine mount for a VW golf at lunch today.

In his shed the was a little mini that he has started to restore, he showed me the sills and floor pan that he has done, he also said that under the rear arches where they normal go, there was loads of mud, so he thought, he cleaned it all up and found that it had been waxy oiled and is like new, could not see the rest of the body as it was covered up but the bottom of the door looked fine.

He would not sell me any bits but he said that the whole car needs to go, if any one is intrested then give me a shout. Not to sure hoiw much he wants.
