Would i be better of fitting a k&n or similar air filter with a big bore stainless dtm exhaust or will the standard air filter breath ok? The car runs fine at the moment with a straight through single back box exhaust not sure what type but its relativly quite and pretty much standard bore.
2" dtm centre exit.

get a big bore and un-less your mini is highly tuned you will loose power!!!!

get the exhaust as part of a stage 1 kit. thisll give u the right needle and airfilter. as dave said, a 2" can lose power, but it has worked well on some engines
