On a serious note, If you could create a mould that would fit a Metro that'd be great, I'd 100% be interested. Provided it was under 20 quid, which, of course we don't know yet.
hi Craig if there is 13.5 cm between the seats it should fit in no problem. don't know how to say this but there is no way that the final selling price will be under £20. as i produced the first one today took all day and came to releasing it and i had to cut the mold and the part in two just to release so during next week i will be modifying the mold. i will be posting up pics of the part i made today just ignore the cut line haha this wont be on the finished final parts this one is now going to be going in my car once i have connected it back together and filled it up

This isn't sacrificing clutch foot space, has handy drink holder, which a center console doesnt have, and looks good. also, much lighter

Sure it may not look much, but I think it's good value. if I had £50 to spend on something rn, I think i'd go for one, always want somewhere to put a drink, annoying when you dont have a passenger to hold it aha

That's a great idea and they look really good, Good luck with them.
thanks shify

its a modern idea, similar to my seat leon, but the price may put people off, it as for me. Good luck with your product though.
hi jordie i know the price may seem a little high but it takes me about 10 hours to produce one of these so i think £45 sounds pretty cheep for the amount of work it takes to produce these but i understand some people may just think that's expensive but really i think it is good value. thank you

If center consoles can be sold for £50 or w/e they are these days, this easily can.

Liam- firstly I don't have a need for one myself but I thought I'd say you have had a very good idea with these so well done. Maybe you could try and find a much less labour intensive way of producing these and even offer them in a not so good finish (maybe an option) which would mean you could bang out more of them for a lower price, as some people will be more than happy to fiddle around to get them perfect if it saves them some dough.
Congrats and good luck!

thank you, was thinking about that but its the layering up in the mold that takes the time so minght as well just finish off the job they are supplied in 2k primer ready for people to apply there own paint or finish. again thank you

People are more than happy to spend £40+ on a cardboard centre console that gets in the way, rubs through and will soak up any moisture from the carpet and fall to pieces.
In my eyes for a solid (nearly half inch thick in places!!) well made quality piece of kit the price is right were it should be. Heck the finish is flawless better than the paint on my car!!!
I can honestly say you get alot more than what you pay for.

Just wanted to add to the thread. I bought one of these from Liam this week and am very happy with it.
As you can see from my pics I haven't painted it yet. That's because I intend to get a new dashboard soon so I need to see what colour I get before I spray the cup holder accordingly.
It sits nicely between the seats. I have a '93 1275 auto. It holds my Maccies cup nicely!
