I joined sometime in 2004 when i bought my first mini at the age of 16. a totally standard studio 2 in black:
A year later ( i no it isnt modded much but i was on part time income lol)
I spent about a year modyfing it ready for when i passed my test, but 4 weeks after passing my test i wanted to move onto better things and bought a saxo :nugget:
The saxo was ok apart from alot of problems! These problems reminded me how many i had with my mini (none) and how easy faults and problems were to fix on a mini. And after driving my mates mini a couple of times around christmas i was hooked again!!
The saxo was ditched after almost killing it and i bought this:
I had been mates with the lad who owned this mini from near enough when i started modifying mine and when he had another mini prior to this. When he use to show me the progress pics etc i was soooo jealous
so... when i saw it for sale i couldnt resist 
A week on ive fixed quite a few problems ive had which really got me down about the car
but now its almost faultless im enjoying minis all over again!!
