I have heard rumours of a thing called mini in a bucket that is supposed to contain every nut, bolt, screw and washer you need for a mini but have never found somewhere that sells one or for that matter seen one.

You can buy sets of assorted UNF and UNC nuts, bolts, screws and washers.

There are also things such as rear sub frame nut and bolt kits. I bought one for my rear sub frame as I sheared quite a few bolts when removing it. Me personally I would just use a wire wheel on a drill and clean them up as you put them back in (doing this with most of my bolts as long as they aren't broken). Remember to apply some anti seize coating when putting them back in. Saves a lot of money.

DO NOT use stainless steel ...... In contact with mild steel they set up an electrolysis cell and the STEEL round the bolt rots away.......

this "mini in a bucket kit" used to be sold by mini-its IIRC but when i contacted them they said it is no longer available.

best bet is to loo kat smiffys bits on ebay as he sells kits for individual things, eg rear subframe etc

Failing that - does anyone have the complete list of nuts and bolts required?

most of the suppliers show and can supply the correct nuts and bolts of the correct size and grade.
