Hi all,

The hose at the back right hand corner that goes between the head and the block has split, Can i replace this with out taking the head off? i replaced the pipe with a brand new one when i did the head gasket about a month ago and it has split, i will be a bit miffed if i have to take the head of again!! what do you all reakon then?

I think you mean the bypass hose from the underside of the head to the water pump? not the block. Minispares do a very nice kevlar version, or simply use a bit of good quality heater hose. It can be fitted with the head on, but you will have to remove the water pump to do so. 1 hour job.
