Hi all

I have been searching for some time for a product called rustroy which i have found is no longer made.
I am looking for a engineering strength rust treatment rather than the usual stuff. Read up on rustroy to see what i mean.
Any experts out there with any long used treatments I would like your views please

"Jenolite" is my weapon of choice as well, I'm not sure that it qualifies as "engineering strength" or "the usual stuff" though. On one hand you can but it in Halfrauds and the like, but then they claim in their marketing that it also used by the MOD too!!

just been looking on the net. Also seen Dinitrol, and por15 both look classy but honest results from you guys have gotta be better than some convincing advertising.
Any more views anyone?

jenolite is excellent stuff its like jelly instead of other runny rust treatments its very effective & cheap also great for doing under the front bulk head or similar places were others will run off before it gets chance to work to its full potential

Best rust treatment for a mini.

Angle grinder, tin snips, new panel, mig welder.

I use kurust on my mini. Seems to be Ok but you do need to prime over it soon or the rust will start again.

Jenolite used to be used in Bettys Bombers and we have used it Civil aircraft although there are very few steel components now. If its very light surface rust then a quick blast back with a flapper wheel/disc followed by either Krust or Jenolite. If its pitting then its cut out and replace with fresh metal time.
