Dear admin folk,

Here we are over a month after I asked to talk to some one about a project and I have still not got a phone number. I am super busy with my own email stuff and have, unfortunately, very limited time to visit all the forums, facebook pages, tweets etc. which I would like to visit. I need to do this nice and simple. Will someone on the admin staff email me on my email - not face book or any other - with a phone number I can contact them on. Time is marching on and the project I want to propose may simply vaporize due to lack of time. Can we please do it my way so this old guy here doesn't stumble too much in the effort to make something happen???

Seems not to have time for the niceties...

Seriously, he does seem to me to be coming off as a bit rude. In his first post (as abrupt as that was in itself) he didnt ask for anyone to provide a tel number, he just asked for contact to be made, which I am sure it was.

I know he is a big name, but at the end of the day there isnt anything wrong with email. To demand a personal tel number from someone is also a bit protentious. I know most of us mortals cant demand a tel number, why should he be so different at the end of the day.

To explain a little further, I spoke with David last night for around an hour. It was a very interesting chat and I didn't read his messages on here as being rude really.

He had emailed someone off here to ask for a phone number, but it appears that somewhere along the lines the emails got missed, filtered as junk, or whatever else. Either way, it's all sorted now.

So, watch this space!

Apparently he wanted to know what the best oil was to use in a Mini but after 72 pages of random waffle, Jeremy Kyle and trying to think of a word that linked with aubergine he decided it might be easier to phone someone instead....
