the carb is not that bad . i have got my carb running 99% now . it does not splutter or do anything stupid and the fueling is bang on all through the range
it was just pinking in 3rd under load going up hills with the mg metro dizzy . the aldon sc was ment to sstop that but it did not . so im doing a megajolt setup now

That looks great, thanks for replying. What sort of power have you got if you don't mind me asking? What's it like on fuel?this is a blow through set up some one posted up a couple of years ago.

personally, i much prefer the blow through type set up as it allows use of an intercooler/chargecooler, and avoids the issue of fuel condensing and pooling which can occur in the suck through type. but it is more complicated and uses more parts etc.
finally that 7/8 port mk1 metro is amazing! would like to see the rest of it.

im prepared to be proven wrong but i think that white car was photographed at caste combe, and if i believe correctly, it was pretty formidable on the track.
