I have had some re-profiled bonnet hinges made which will raise the rear of the bonnet up without the need for spacers etc. Below is a picture of the prototype and will add some images of them fitted over the weekend. The finished items will have some fancy slots cut in them to reduce their weight a tad (every little helps lol) and will be available in either mild steel for painting or polished stainless. They will come with new fixings etc and price to be confirmed. I will also have standard profile hinges available again with the weight saving cutouts and in mild and polished stainless steel. These should all be ready for sale in next 7-10days.....updates to follow

Yeah will let the rain in The idea (although its never been proven and there are various thoughts on the matter) is that it allows more airflow under the bonnet whilst travelling forwards so helping to reduce under bonnet temperatures. I guess people arnt too bothered about a bit of water getting under there Price wise approx 15.00 but will confirm shortly.

Little update, hinges fit a treat (although getting the old ones out is a right pig of a job!) The raise the rear edge up just over an inch and the front still shuts as normal.
