Thanks for all the reply's guys!

The mini isn't actually mine yet, as im 14. But it's going to my first car - hence why i don't want the rust just filled up with filler! I'd like to attempt to do as much of the easier stuff myself, as i really want to learn how to weld and Dad is a busy getting on with his van ('Busavan on here)

I might go with a mixture of genuine and non genuine panels, just to keep the price down - as when i added up the cost of all genuine, the car as a whole wasnt much more! genuine scuttle, maybe wings, front panel and boot hinge repair panel. Whilst rear qtrs, door steps (can't find genuine?), and boot floor i may consider getting non genuine.

A freind of ours has recently bought a front panel, and two front wings non-genuine so i will find out from him how the fit was etc.

Thanks alot for replys.

I've just bought a m-machine half floor and the quality of it is excellent, much better quality than another non-gen. one that I bought and binned as it was that awful!
