dress the rust back with a flap wheel or sanding paper, kurust (or vactan see here http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=110765433110). let it dry and change colour, add a couple coats of paint, let dry. cover with waxoil or whatever.

Should help keep it at bay, but any holes etc, it needs to be cut out and repaired.

works out cheaper / better value compared to the small tins of kurust.

My new clubby estate project is painted in VACTAN as we shot blast each area.

I coated my whole underneath and wheel arches with waxoyl. I used the jumbo sprayer and black. Looks like it has been nicely painted now. Worth the horrible job that it is!

Is this stuff Vatcan still good to use under primer paint etc on visible repairs to bodywork? like I have some rust coming through on ym scuttle and plan to remove all etc then fill and prime and paint.
Can this Vatcan stuff be filled and or primed over ok? I would be brusing on the Vatcan to.

Yes you can. Use as you would kurust.
