....as explained in the previous thread, it just isn't going to happen (especially in the current economic climate). I'm not so sure that it's a particularly good idea, so I won't be signing either!!

Of course I'll sign it - either all classics (on a 30yr rolling basis) get free tax, or none at all.

i drive mine everyday, come rain or shine.Besides, lots of classic car owners don't take their pride and joy out very often - is it worth paying £130 a year just to drive it too and from Mini shows, or the odd drive on a nice day?
A car that's lasted 30 years in our hands deserve's a little respect - and free tax!
classic cars i wouldnt drive in the rain would already qualify.
let be honest my 94 sprite isnt anymore of a classic in the eyes of most than and old suzuki swift.
the only reason i can get classic car insurace on an "underage" car is because the mini marque is classed as a classic regardless of the year of manufacture.
