Doesn't matter, as many people need to see it as possible.

I'm hoping the "won't" bit was a typo.

....as explained in the previous thread, it just isn't going to happen (especially in the current economic climate). I'm not so sure that it's a particularly good idea, so I won't be signing either!!

Thing is, cars that are 25/30 years old ARE classics, why should they have to pay full-fat tax when their slightly older counterparts don't?
Of course I'll sign it - either all classics (on a 30yr rolling basis) get free tax, or none at all.

Besides, lots of classic car owners don't take their pride and joy out very often - is it worth paying £130 a year just to drive it too and from Mini shows, or the odd drive on a nice day?

A car that's lasted 30 years in our hands deserve's a little respect - and free tax! :D

i drive mine everyday, come rain or shine.
classic cars i wouldnt drive in the rain would already qualify.
let be honest my 94 sprite isnt anymore of a classic in the eyes of most than and old suzuki swift.

the only reason i can get classic car insurace on an "underage" car is because the mini marque is classed as a classic regardless of the year of manufacture.

This country is up to its ears in debt due to excessive spending and there is a suggestion that the priviledged few, for that is how it will be seen, who can afford to run a classic car as well as another more modern car, should have their tax reduced whilst others have their pensions cut, their taxes increased and their public services reduced.
Yes, this suggestion really will do well ;D
