Hi everyone,
I have just bought myself a BRG '95 Mayfair 1275 si which seems to be reasonably tidy, 27000 miles, with full history. Needs a small patch on the drivers floor just inside the door step. I'm not sure if that is one of the common places for the old rust to start? The rest of it on my inexpert once over, looked to be fairly clean. I will take it to my local garage Monday to have it inspected on a lift (fingers and other things crossed!). 42 years since my last Mini ownership, and I'd forgotten what a blast they are. I may keep the MX-5 as my luxury car unless I get tempted by a good offer. Any competent welder in the Westbury Wilts area? I am also missing the black roof moulding clip if anyone has an old one lying around.
